Orlanda is a sophomore at Bentley College, majoring in Business Administration.
Originally from Cape Verde, but not having traveled much before her Quest service trip, Orlanda loved the opportunity to see new cultures, and have a new experience on the 2016 trip to New Orleans. In addition, she participated in the Quest Alumni service trip to Puerto Rico this past summer and helped to build a new home for one of the survivors of Hurricane Maria. On top of her passion for culture and languages, she sees the importance of community service and values how the communities served on Quest trips are so appreciative of the support. She hopes to extend this opportunity for learning and engagement to other students through her involvement on the Alumni board.
