Kirdzon Bengtson

Kirdzon participated in two service trips to Honduras when he was a student at Boston International High back in 2006 and 2007. This past June he took off time from his job at Massachusetts General Hospital to participate in our first Quest alumni service trip. Kirdzon explains, "On our arrival to Puerto Rico, we joined forces with a non profit organization named TECHO. It is always beautiful to see and feel joy in people who have been through horrible experiences and situations but can still smile. I was able to see how the sad faces I saw on my arrival to San Isidro were happy faces at the end of the trip when the project was done, and that always impacts my life. But what impacted my life the most were the TECHO volunteers. Til this day, every time I think about them, my heart fills with joy. Their living conditions as volunteers in Puerto Rico were terrible, in my opinion. but none of them really cared about it. They were always smiling and making jokes, being friendly with everyone. They impacted my life because it was my first time seeing people with such beautiful hears and so much commitment. God Bless Them all always!

Quest Adventures is a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports people both locally, nationally and worldwide.
