Stage 3: Back to Boston

Stage 3: Back to Boston

Post-trip reflection:: Upon their return, teams meet to share the personal impact of their trip with Quest program coordinators. They identify new skills, such as new organizational and leadership skills, greatly improved written and oral presentation skills, and a greater confidence, and a broader perspective. The team works together to write personal essays to be included in the Quest Final Report.

Team design and execution of school service project: : Students replicate these newly developed skills by designing and executing a final service project that will involve and impact their entire school community.

"We worked together with Americorps volunteers in Houston. They were so passionate and enthusiastic that I am inspired to join Americorps for my gap year before college."

" I learned that I am more positive than I thought. I never gave up even though I didn't know anything about construction work. We all stuck together and got the work done. This experience showed me that life is going to give us a lot of challenges and that as strong women, we should show that we can do it."
