Juliette Rorie is a local Bostonian. After attending Fenway High School, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree at UMass Boston in Africana Studies. Wanting to give back to her Boston community, she became a teacher in the Boston Public Schools. She inaugurated her first year teaching by also co-leading a Quest service trip to New York, providing relief from superstorm Sandy. In her four years teaching in BPS, she also led two more trips, one to Pine Ridge Native American reservation in South Dakota and most recently to Arizona facilitating discussions on immigration and border dynamics. Her fondest memories of her Quest service was being in Pine Ridge where she felt she was really able to connect to her students, coworkers and to herself.
Juliette is now the Program Coordinator for Quest and will be coordinating this year’s service trips.
