April Volunteer Opportunity
l. Saturday, April 27 9am-1pm Members of Quest’s school teams, Executive Board, and Alumni Board participate in Boston Shines Clean-up Day!

Quest Adventures supports teams of Boston students and teachers to reach out to others, both in the US and abroad, in the spirit of community service.
Quest Adventures was founded to support teachers in their vision to connect students with change-makers around the world. Through service learning experiences, young people not only realize strengths within themselves but also discover the impact they can have on the world.
Whether it is building a new house for a homeless family in Central America, conducting beach clean ups to protect endangered marine life in the Caribbean, or tutoring children and building sun shelters in a playground, students and their teachers are up to the challenge!
The Quest Adventures experience changes the lives of students from urban settings by empowering them through travel, community service, and increased self-efficacy to realize their fullest potential as contributing citizens of the world.
Traditionally, urban youth from low income areas face disproportionate barriers to travel and educational experiences. QUEST Adventures is committed to supporting young people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to engage in experiential learning adventures and activities beyond their classrooms or neighborhoods.
While working at The English High School in the Boston Public School system, Claudia Bell and Elizabeth Anne Wachtmeister traveled with their own students, starting with a 2003 trip to Honduras. Using their 5 years of taking subsequent service learning trips with their Boston students, they created a model to help other educators to organize service learning trips with their students. As students graduated from high school and continued with local, national, and international community service trips in college, Claudia and Anne were inspired to start the organization, Quest Adventures, so that more Boston students could have similar opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.
Quest Adventures was incorporated in 2008 and received its 501c3 status in 2009.
